Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Cathay Pacific is pleased to announce the resumption of its in-town check-in service at KL Sentral, starting 4 June 2024. Previously suspended due to the pandemic, the service will give Cathay Pacific passengers the convenience of checking-in and dropping off their luggage in the city centre, before heading to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on the KLIA Ekspres.
Cathay Pacific passengers can now take advantage of this service to indulge in some last-minute shopping in town before travelling to the airport hassle-free. In-town check-in counters are open every day from 5.45am to 3.45pm at the KLIA Ekspres Departure Hall in KL Sentral Station, and close two hours before the scheduled departure time. Passengers must be travelling on the same day and must hold a valid KLIA Ekspres. The KLIA Ekspres currently runs every 20 minutes all day, every day, and brings passengers to KLIA all within a quick 28-minute journey.
